Start Your Volleyball Journey with Junior Ducks!
Junior Ducks 9U-11U and 12U-13U is a co-ed training program for beginner to intermediate athletes, fostering a fun and challenging environment to develop volleyball skills. This program introduces young athletes to volleyball, focusing on basic skills, athletic movements, and sparking a passion for the game. Training takes uses a variety of modified games to ensure everyone learns and practices all positions and skills.
Our Goals
1. Introduce athletes to Ducks Volleyball, igniting a love for the sport.
2. Equip athletes with the skills, tools, and pathway to enter and excel in school and club volleyball.
3. Offer year-round training opportunities and clear entry points to club volleyball for aspiring players.
Programs are offered throughout the year, the estimated months of training are below:
Fall (September to November) – Registration OPENS in July
Winter (January to March) – Registration OPENS in November **Program information coming Oct 23
Spring (April to June) – Registration OPENS in February ** Program information coming February 11 – Reg opens Feb 15 time will be posted
Summer – Ducks Volleyball League – A modified train and play for our Jr Ducks Athletes, an opportunity to receive instruction with structured play/competition each session.
Summer | Beach Volleyball (May to July) – Registration OPENS in April

There are no tryouts for this program. All athletes from all clubs are welcome.

Group placement is at the discretion of the camp director.

This program is very popular. Sign up quickly. If it is full, please sign up on the waitlist. Sessions may be added if necessary.

There are no refunds for missed sessions.

Athletes can join our Junior Ducks programs at any time, regardless if they have any previous experience.

Age levels are birth years for the Volleyball BC 2026 Season of play

IMPORTANT - ALL Athletes are required to register as Volleyball BC Recreational members in order to participate. Once your registration has been confirmed, you will be send a club-specific link to register. Cost is approx $13 DO NOT REGISTER AS A VBC MEMBER BEFORE YOUR ACCEPTANCE INTO THE PROGRAM IS CONFIRMED BY THE DUCKS – You will be sent a confirmation email along with a club-specific link to register. Registration as a VBC member must be done AFTER Aug 31 in order to be valid for the upcoming program. Registering as a VBC member is NOT REQUIRED to register in Fall Prep Sessions – it is completed AFTER. If you are a current VBC member, your membership expires at the end of August – you will be asked to renew after this date. The amount that you pay for membership will be valid for any program for the upcoming year. If you play club volleyball, the amount is deducted from your required full VBC membership fee.
If teamsnap will not allow you to register but you think there are spaces, it is oversold and showing negative. Register on the waitlist please.
You will get an AUTO email confirming your enrolment in the program and/or waitlist. If you were not charged a fee, you are on the waitlist
Parents – these levels are meant as a guideline for our coaches and their planning. Coaches have final discretion within each session to move athletes to courts throughout training. Each session has one court of each level.

Steps to complete prior to registration:
1. Fill out and save INDEMNITY AGREEMENT – save a screenshot to your phone or computer to speed up registration *This file has been updated July 21 to be one page, to make it easier to upload during registration.
*PRO TIPS – if you are registering from your phone, you can save a screenshot of the filled out and signed form to your images and upload the photo during the registration process
*Don’t have a printer? screenshot each page of the document – open the image on your iPhone and go to “edit” under edit, you can choose “markup” and sign the image manually – save to your phone and upload during registration
2. Sign up for a TeamSnap account and add your athlete profile information prior to registration.

The Ducks’ policy is that no refunds will be given once programs have commenced. It is club policy that refunds will ONLY be given under specific extenuating circumstances. Return of the registration fee must be approved by the registrar and will be prorated if the sessions have already begun. Refunds are subject to:
– a $40 cancellation fee
– prorated amount, based on the amount of sessions elapsed
– deduction of unrecoverable costs (ie. facility fees, affiliation fees, equipment, etc.)
– refunds will not be given for sessions cancelled due to inclement weather or athlete missed sessions
