All of the information below is subject to change based on the discretion of the Ducks Executive. Early signing will not be used for 12U-14U athletes. For more information, please refer to the FAQ section at the bottom of the page

Athletes 15U – 18U who are interested in trying out for the Ducks Volleyball Club are strongly encouraged to email info@ducksvolleyball.ca and communicate with us about your interest, as well as details about your background and experience.

important details

  • Each registered athlete will attend 1 mandatory tryout. Some age groups will have a 2nd call back required – this will be for selected athletes only - after the first tryout, some athletes will be called back for a 2nd tryout to better help the selection committee evaluate and make proper decisions for team placements. From the 2nd tryout final decisions regarding team placement and identification will take place.
  • Each athlete must pre-register prior to attending tryouts. This allows our selection committee to plan the tryout session accordingly​
  • Attendance at tryouts is mandatory in order to be identified to a Ducks team. In rare cases when it is not possible to attend a tryout, please read Tryout FAQs below for instructions
  • Athletes attending tryouts from a different club DO NOT need to provide an athlete release form​
  • Athletes must arrive 30 minutes prior to tryout to complete registration process.​
  • Refunds: there are no refunds for tryouts not attended. There are no refunds for tryout fees if you do not make a club team

  • 2 Hour Tryout | $35 + GST + cc processing fee​
  • 2.5 Hour Tryout | $40 + GST + cc processing fee​
* On-site registration is an additional $10 per tryout fee above will apply. * Online registration will be closed 48 hours prior to tryout
* On-site registration may not be allowed in specific tryouts, this page will be updated to reflect any changes
