If you are looking for an opportunity to TRAIN COMPETITIVELY, ENHANCE YOUR GAME, and MAXIMIZE your training, join our clinics and camps. All training is lead by elite coaches who are PASSIONATE, EXPERIENCED and KNOWLEDGEABLE. Our training will provide game-like MEANINGFUL BALL CONTACTS to enhance motor skill acquisition, in a FUN and CHALLENGING training environment.

We focus on game play and game-like situations to provide authentic learning environments – ALL TRAINING WILL FOLLOW COVID-19 RETURN TO PLAY GUIDELINES.

REGISTRATION OPENS FEB 20TH – LIMITED TO DUCK ATHLETES ONLY CURRENTLY PLAYING ON A TEAM FOR THE 2021 SEASON

REGISTRATION OPENS FEB 27TH TO ATHLETES FROM OTHER CLUBS

*Age levels are based on 2021 club season of play:
13U (born in 2008)
14U (born in 2007)
15U (born in 2006)
16U (born in 2005)

13U | 14U Boot Camp (24 spots)

This is an intermediate level training opportunity for athletes to learn and develop SPECIFIC SKILLS and TOOLS necessary to be an elite player and a #KILLERDUCK. This camp will have 2 focused sessions that will provide a better understanding and development in specific areas of the game:
Session #1 – First Contact & Defence – Serve + Serve Receive Mechanics | Defensive Toolbox | Ball Control | Digging Duck Mindset
Session #2 – Attacking & Transition – Arm Swing + Footwork Mechanics | Various Transition Movements | Killer Duck Mindset

*Athletes must have a minimum 1 season of indoor club experience to participate and/or currently be a member of a Ducks club team for 2021
*Athletes will be divided by skill and age levels to provide appropriate levels of training for each athlete

Setter School (12 SPOTS)

This is an intermediate/advanced level training opportunity for setters to learn and develop SPECIFIC SKILLS necessary to be an elite setter. Training will focus on footwork, hands, technique, tactics and leadership. Learning how to CONSISTENTLY SET to VARYING LOCATIONS + TEMPOS, and making correct TACTICAL CHOICES of where to set in matches will be a focus.

*Athletes must have a minimum 1 season of indoor club experience AS a setter to participate – This program is not an introduction to setting. It is not appropriate for athletes who have not played as a setter before. 

*14U Athletes must be playing the setter position on their 2021 club team so far this season*Athletes will be divided by skill and age levels to provide appropriate levels of training for each athlete

*Athletes will integrated into the Attacking Clinic during training

Attacking & Transition | 15U - 16U (24 spots)

This is an intermediate/advanced level training opportunity for attackers to learn and develop SPECIFIC SKILLS necessary to be an elite attacker and a #KILLERDUCKS. In order for teams to be successful at the highest levels, it is critical that attackers have the ability to attack with range, adapt to various situations, transition to attack from different areas of the court, and score using a COMPLETE ATTACKER TOOLBOX. Training will have a deeper advanced focus on: Arm Swing + Footwork Mechanics | Various Transition Movements | Attacking Toolbox | Killer Duck Mindset

*Athletes must have a minimum 1-2 seasons of indoor club experience to participate and currently be a member of a Ducks club team for 2021
*Athletes will be divided by skill and age levels to provide appropriate levels of training for each athlete

First Contact & Defence | 15U - 16U (24 spots)

This is an intermediate/advanced level training opportunity for athletes to learn and develop SPECIFIC SKILS necessary to be an elite passer and defender and a #DIGGINGDUCK #DUCKSPASSDIMES. FIRST CONTACT dictates a team’s level of play and ultimately, success, training it is essential.  Great teams also play great defense, take this rare opportunity to add a new level to your DEFENSIVE TOOLBOX. Training will have a deeper advanced focus on: Serve + Serve Receive Mechanics | Defensive Toolbox | Ball Control | Digging Duck Mindset

*Athletes must have a minimum 1-2 seasons of indoor club experience to participate and currently be a member of a Ducks club team for 2021

Registration Information

Steps to complete prior to registration:

  1. Athletes and families are required to fully read and understand our RETURN TO PLAY AND SAFETY PLAN prior to registering in our programs.
  2. Fill out and save INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
  3. Fill out and save HEALTH DECLARATION OF COMPLIANCE 
  4. *NEW* Masks are now required at all training. All coaches and athletes must wear a mask at all training sessions

*PRO TIPS – if you are registering from your phone, you can save a screenshot of the filled out and signed form to your images and upload the photo during the reg process

Additional Information

*Acceptance into the clinic is at the discretion of the clinic director

*Training fills up very quickly, and a wait list will be created

*There will be no refunds for missed sessions

*Athletes will be placed into groups based on their age, skill and ability levels to ensure the training they receive meets their needs

Refund Policy

REGULAR REFUND POLICY

The Ducks’ policy is that no refunds will be given once programs have commenced. It is club policy that refunds will ONLY be given under specific extenuating circumstances. Return of the registration fee must be approved by the registrar and will be prorated if the sessions have already begun. Refunds will not be approved after sessions have begun and a replacement may not be found. Approved refunds are subject to:

  • a $40 cancellation fee
  • prorated amount, based on the amount of sessions elapsed
  • deduction of unrecoverable costs (ie. facility fees, affiliation fees, equipment, etc.)
  • refunds will not be given for sessions cancelled due to inclement weather or athlete missed sessions

COVID-19 REFUND POLICY

In the event that a program must be shut down due to a confirmed case of Covid-19, participants will receive a pro-rated discount for the remainder of the sessions less unrecoverable costs.

PARTICIPANT FALLS ILL – NO COVID TEST

If an athlete falls ill, our regular Refund policy will take effect. If participant exhibits Covid-19 symptoms, it is imperative they contact 8-1-1 immediately. Please refer to our RETURN TO PLAY page for specific instructions.

No refunds will be given for regular illness, unconfirmed by official Covid-19 test.
